I was introduced to Georgie in the late 70’s through Sarah’s memories. I have a wonderful collection of epic stories, tales and adventures in my mind. Georgie’s daring and courageous differences elevated her to hero status for me. I admit I was jealous because I truly wished her to be MY Aunt Georgie. I had the privilege of meeting Georgie in 2000 when Sarah and I were in England. There she was, bigger than life. I confess I was very shy in my heart but she was an excellent role model for me. She has given me permission to be as ridiculous, crazy, over the top and out of control as I want to be. I just love her for that. Georgie I’m so grateful and blessed to have known you. If I could, I would sing you a Bette Midler song: Did you ever know that you’re one of my heroes? Every thing I’d like to be? You help me fly higher than an eagle. You give me wind between my knees! All my love,
